Set in the beautiful Verdugo Mountains, College View School is a unique public school for students with special needs. College View serves the school districts of Glendale, Burbank, and La Cañada with a traditional school year schedule and summer school session.

With our dedicated staff, we strive to:

- Teach as a team in conjunction with parents to provide a continuity of education for our students.
- Teach all students to achieve the highest level of verbal and/or non-verbal communication skills possible.
- Teach functional self-help skills to ensure maximum self-reliance for our students in their daily living.
- Teach physical and thinking skills needed for home, school, and community environments, leading to the highest level of independence possible.
- Teach the social conventions and provide the opportunities for students to make friends and find acceptance in the community.

Placement at College View School is by virtue of the Individual Education Plan process. College View School is part of the Foothill SELPA program that serves students who reside in the Glendale, Burbank, and La Cañada school districts.
